Beauty on a Budget: Wet n Wild Coverall Line

DSC_0425 (2) copy

Looking for a buildable full coverage foundation? Also low on cash? Well look no further! Today I am going to be giving you the full rundown on the Coverall Line from Wet n Wild.

The Coverall Line from Wet n Wild includes a primer base, liquid foundation, cream stick concealer, and pressed powder. The products I will be reviewing include the primer and foundation, mainly because the concealer and powder would be a skip in my book. To start things off the primer which is the hardest to find will set you back $5. I usually can only find the primer at Walmart and that is if they even have it in stock. The foundation which comes in 7 shades will set you back only $4! The shades that work best for my skin ton are a mix of 815 Fair and 816 Fair/Light. Keep reading for swatches and more!

Brows on a Budget: NYX and E.L.F.

For the longest time I was obsessed with others eyebrows and how perfect they could get them looking. After doing some research I found some alternatives to the expensive brow gels and creams (such as the $18 Anastasia Dip Brow) that work almost just as well!

NYX Tinted Brow Mascara: The first product I want to talk about is this brow mascara from NYX. It retails for $7 to $9 depending on where you buy. This mascara has a tiny brush which you just brush your brows into place. I have quite dark hair so my color is in Espresso. The brush is just under the size of a quarter which works well for your brows. When brushing into place you can go over in layers to achieve the correct shape and color. I usually go over twice since I sometimes miss spots. This product dries fairly quickly and will not budge until removed with makeup remover. The best part about this product is that if you make a mistake you have enough time to quickly smudge it away, so you can really get those flawless brows. This is my go to product on a daily basis since it takes two seconds to apply. Keep reading to find out about the eyebrow kit!

I don’t know about you but I have a cellulite problem, partly genetic and partly because getting to the gym regularly is quite impossible these days. My main problem area is the backs of my legs, which has caused some anxiety during shorts season. I stumbled upon this product after my own mother recommended it for me. She had been trying it for quite some time and noticed a real improvement! So for all of those suffering from pockets of cellulite let me introduce you to your skin miracle, Nivea’s Skin Firming & Toning Gel Cream. Keep reading to see how it worked for me.

Dollar Deals: E.L.F. Essential All Over Color Sticks

Have you ever needed a product that can do more than just one thing? Well you’re in luck! Today I’ll be reviewing the E.L.F. Essential All Over Sticks that work as a 3 in 1 color for your eyes, lips, and or face! I currently own 4 of the shades, but sadly as I have put this post up I realized that E.L.F. had discontinued one of the shades I own. But knowing E.L.F. it could easily be back soon. This 3 in 1 stick costs only $1 and can be found on their website, or in most stores that carry E.L.F. products. Currently I know that most drugstores and major retailers carry E.L.F. cosmetics.

Manic Monday: Mini Walmart Haul

Happy Monday everyone, or unhappy Monday to some (this includes myself). I thought I would create a light post today and share with you what I picked up over the weekend when I went to Walmart.

I was mostly there to pick up travel supplies and more bird feed, but ended up walking out with some beauty products I wanted to try out. I had coupons expiring soon as well…which might have added to this last minute decision. Keep reading to see what I purchased!

Beauty on a Budget: Facial Masks

DSC_0278 copy2

A lot of people think of facial masks as a total luxury item, and I’m here to tell you that those people are dead wrong. It is time for you to treat yourself to an at home spa experience with Freeman’s Feeling Beautiful Facial Masks. These 6.0 Fl. Oz. face masks retail for $3 to $5 depending on where you buy them. I find that the most options are available at Ulta, but you can also order them online if you do not have an Ulta nearby. These masks also come in individual packets that retail for $2 and can be found at Walmart or online. The three masks I currently have on hand are the Cucumber Peel-Off Mask, the Facial Clay Mask in Avocado & Oatmeal, and finally the Facial Brightening Mask in Golden Grain.

Chapped Lip Solutions: Moisturizing Lipsticks

DSC_1191

Are you one of those people that constantly have chapped lips? Always bummed out because your favorite lipstick always looks cakey when your lips are literally falling off? Well fear no more! The solution is here, moisturizing lipsticks.

Since I was a wee baby I have suffered from constantly chapped lips. As I aged this annoying occurrence turned into an actual dilemma, the fact that I have to be very conscious on what kind of lipstick I would wear that day. No one wants to put on a lipstick and find that it reached every crevice, showing every piece of dry lip that there is on your beautiful face. To counteract this problem I went on the search for lipsticks that are moisturizing and glide on like a charm. So for today I have picked four drugstore lipsticks and two high end, just for those who might want some comparisons.
